About Restavo Research

A free, sourced reference on the restoration economy in Southern California, written for the crews and companies who do the work.

Why it exists

After a fire, a flood or an earthquake, the rebuild depends on trades: electricians, plumbers, drywall and paint crews, roofers, abatement and remediation teams. The numbers that shape that work, from how many contractors a county has to what copper wire costs this month, are public but scattered across a dozen agencies. We put them in one place, on one scale, with the source next to every chart.

Who it’s for

Restoration contractors, the trades they hire, adjusters and suppliers. Not homeowners: there are good consumer guides already, and this site makes no recommendations about any home, claim or policy.

Who makes it

Restavo Research is made by Restavo, which builds software for restoration companies, and Restavo Work, where restoration teams find trades. We start with the Inland Empire, Riverside and San Bernardino counties, because that is where we work, and cover the rest of Southern California alongside it. The rest of California comes next.
